Edwin Austin Abbey was a US oil painter, watercolorist and book illustrator. He drew illustrations in pen for works of Robert Herrick, Oliver Goldsmith and Shakespeare and painted the scenes of The Quest of the Holy Grail on the walls of the public library, in Boston.
