The Butler
Institute is one of a handful of art museums in the country that is free of
charge. .
Of note at the museum is an astounding display of water colors that are
photo-realistic, demonstrating extreme control of the medium, by Gregory
Strachov; NEO's own Phyllis Seltzer's heat transfer prints of mostly-Cleveland
cityscapes that sizzle with eye-popping colors; and the many recognizable pieces
throughout the museum by such well known artists as Andy Worhal, Edward Hopper,
Mary Cassatt, Romare Beardon and the list goes on.
